Wahaha! Had mock oral exam for both chinese and english today. English was a disaster! the topic that day was on the elderly and somehow, I could not come up with a single piece of crap! Ended up giving really short, boring answers. First I said that my grandfather was dead, then I mentioned that I went fishing with my grandfather! Which was untrue (the fishting that is). For chinese, as usual, the amount of words I could not read was roughly equal to the number I could, but I sort of managed to bluff my way through. The conversation was really fun though, maybe I should try to crack jokes during my chinese oral exam as well!

It is 10.49. For the past twenty minutes or so, there has been this massive blackout from some where in bishan, so my dad's hospital to my whole street and probably estate. Strangely, the streetlights behind my backyard was unaffected.

Oh well, the holidays are almost done with. Tomorrow will be the very very last day of holiday. This is a momentous occasion as not too long after the holidays, will be the prelims. This means that i must start studying very hard again very soon. In fact, I am a little disappointed in myself that i did not study at all during the entire duration of the holidays. thats like one whole month wasted! When school starts, we will learn new things and I might not have as much time as I like to study. This is horrible.

Thus, a multitude of changes will be needed for me to get my dream results and reach my dream JC. For one, I guess that I will have to play less basketball. To make up for it, maybe I will go jogging or to the gym. Hopefully my skill will not diminish too much. I really really hate starting from the beginning again and trying to get back into some sort of flow.

I should also probably start that comprehensive review that I have not been doing, reading throught all the textbooks and ten year series to make up for all that I may have forgotten. Getting ready all my geography and social studies notes for me to memorize. Speaking of geography, i have yet to decipher the secret answering techniques for geography. This includes map reading. I really have to figure the secret formula soon or I will be looking at a b4 or c5 for my humanities come the prelims.

So much to study, so much work to be done. Guess that theres no time for any relationships. Prehaps it will be better this way. But theres still an itch I have yet to scratch. I am not a nerd, as much as I seem so, and I cannot possibly ignore certain things. But sometimes, I really do not know if it is what i think it is and if I should do anything about it. In the meantime, it just goes on. I am seriously unwilling to rehash old experiences so I had better think up of something to do fast!

I have touched my homework already. Hell I have done like one third of it. But there's still a rather large pile left. Don't know how I will manage to finish it.

Tomorrow I am going out with my primary school friends!!! Hooray

I have not touched a single piece of homework thus far in the holiday. Almost every day, I'm out playing Frozen Throne, playing basketball, going ice-skating and watching movies. I think that I have played more this holiday than in secondary 3. Guess I will have to start doing my homework today.

After I finish this post, I plan to bathe, and then go to Mac to do some maths, then I will come back for lunch, then back there again to do mort maths. Hopefully it will be around six, then I can go and play basketball! Even if I am not finished, I will still go and play basketball! Hahaha

this is so stupid...

This house stinks! Literally. The front and back flat roofs all had to be repaired as they were sort of leaking all over the place, even once causing a ceiling to collapse.

So my parents decided to hire a contractor to redo the roofs. Well, now both the front and back roofs have been torn up, and that stinky bitumen smell is all over the upper floors. Our whole family now actually has to camp on the living room floor, where my dad and mom are lying asleep as I type.

What's worse than that is that during the day, what with the workers drilling and walking around, and with all bedrooms inaccessible, it becomes damn near impossible to stay at home. Thus, every morning I will HAVE to wander around aimlessly outside. Hmmm, perhaps this would be a good way to get my homework done! But it's more likely that I will end up playing basketball the whole morning...

This experience has really led me to wonder what life would be like without a house, since we are practically living in that condition, albeit with electricity and water supply. Well, it isn't all that bad, as far as I am concerned, I don't mind sleeping on the hard floor.

Finally, tomorrow will be the first day resembling a holiday. No school! I think I will try to watch a little basketball before going out to play, then come back for a bath, then go out again. Great plan!

Today some basketball team came to out court to train. It made all of us kind of pissed, because we were all there first, then they act like they owned the court or something when in fact, it was probably their first time training there. The coach was the meredian JC coach, which I do not know who the hell he is...

Before basketball I was at Cineleisure watching shrek. Shrek is really really nice and funny, it really makes fun at all the fairy tale characters in all sorts of ways. Way better than the disappointing Harry Potter... I have yet to watch Troy or The Day After Tomorrow.

I guess I'm not going for the guitar course after all, as I will be only going for three months, in order to stop before o'levels, if I start now. As such, I will probably take up guitar after the o's. But I still want to get a guitar though, so that I can learn some basic skills and songs.

Things are certainly getting better. I am actually considering liking someone, which is a really huge improvement from this time last year, where I was probably wallowing in self-misery. The lyrics of Gui Ji have proved prophetic in that aspect. At least I have gleaned several valuable lessons from that ordeal or experience, depending on how you look at it. Chief among those would be not to wait too long for something, as it may be over after you wait so long. Haha.

This post is actually like four days worth of blogs.

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Eric and I, and on the last two days Zhiliang, have been playing WarcraftIII Frozen Throne again! After like a one year hiatus I suddenly feel the thrill of playing Warcraft again. What a timeless game. Frozen Throne is certainly very different from Rein of Chaos, which I am much much better at, but it's still very fun! I have also since discovered that if I do not take regular breaks while playing LAN, I will suddenly have headaches! Now ain't that something!

Well, its around 1a.m now, I guess I will go join my parents on the floor...Tata

Ouch! My butt hurts. I'm actually quite happy because I have not felt that way in a long time. That dull ache that occurs the day after intensive training. It used to happen every Wednesday after Tuesday's training but now that there is no more basketball, I have not been doing physical like this.

I went to badminton's training yesterday just for fun and took part in the training. Not as traumatic as basketball, but trying nevertheless. I seriously suck at badminton. And soccer too, come to think of it. I think I should just stick to basketball.

Whew! I have not posted for a long time. Well, there is not really tat much to post. It is now the holidays, but it does not feel that way at all!
We still have to go to school every single day, from 8.30 till around 1pm, and for those with physics tuition, the day ends at like, 5.30. Is that horrible or what? It is even worse that normal school, except that we get to wake up an hour later and do not have to attend flag-raising ceremony.
This disgusting regime will be continuing for two weeks, leaving a measly one week for us to holiday. Coupled with our holiday homework, I guess we can kiss our holiday goodbye.

The humanities camp in the first weekend of the holidays was not bad at all. We went around the CBD for L.O.S.T, then to the organic farm, which was really cool to me, and then to the deary, boring, mundane aerophonics plant, which we all have been to at least once during primary school. Then we went to the underwater world, which was probably the coolest thing, as we got to sleep in the tunnels and look at giant fishes swimming around us all night long. Not really all night long though, because we spent several hours hearing our instructor tell ghost stories.

After the camp, we spent the whole day at sentosa, swimming, playing a little soccer, and throwing sand at Soon Long. Then we buried Tricia in the sand, and then me. It was really bad for me. They put so much sand, and packed it so tightly, that it really felt solid. I could not get my feet out without help at all. Only my upper body was freed. When I finally did extract myself from the sand, my knees were hurting like crazy.

That night, we were supposed to watch a mid-night movie, but the MRT broke down. We ended up spending the night taking busses and taxies all over Singapore. We went to Toa Payoh, Orchard, Plaza Singapura there, Ang Mo Kio central, and finally my house.

I watched harry potter on yesterday. It was not nearly as nice as I expected. They have edited alot of things, and then changed several parts of the story and I could not go five minutes without commenting about how it deviated from the book.

So that leads us all the way to today! Which I spent mostly in school, having lessons and going for badminton training. Oh well, hopefully something exciting will happen soon!

Oh wow wee. Post o'level Chinese is so fun!

After the Chinese paper, I went home to bathe, then went out with my sister for some shopping. Great Singapore Sale has started. I found some really cheap clothes. After that, I went to school for a barbecue, but instead spent most of the time playing basketball. When I finally did get down to eating, I ate half a watermelon, for which Mr Koh gave me two bucks!

The next day, I had lunch with a friend at P.S, before going to the beach to celebrate dougla's birthday! We met quite late, then took a bus to sentosa. Usually, we would take the blue line to a certain stop before walking in. However, thanks to Alven, who said that there was a later stop we could go to, we ended up back at the arrival centre...

So, we decided, what the hey, we'ld just walk all the way there. Ok, more like jog. We must have covered at least 2km, constantly going in the wrong direction and having to backtrack. It reached a point where some people just decided to stop at the next bus stop and take the bus. But Alven and I decided to continue on out feet. We finally did reach the beach, around the same time as the people taking the bus in fact.

I had originally wanted to build a tall mountain but it ended up more of a small knoll. Besides that, we swam around, and played soccer. In the evening, it was back to the hawker centre for chicken rice and then back home.

Tomorrow I will be going off for a three day humanities camp in school and at sentosa so I will not be able to blog at all, not that I have been blogging very regularly these few days.

Update on the camp when I come back!
