Gosh its been so long since I last wrote stuff.

School has been busy as hell, no thanks to the Shell Case Comp in which we jumped into something we totally didn't know anything about and tried to smoke our way through. Hey, at least in the end our ideas were pretty solid. I know that because almost everyone else came up with that idea. Maybe it was only we did our power point slides in the last 5 minutes. Well, I'm secretly glad that we didn't have to go through another round of that. Not so secret after all.

Oh, and I finally have an official CCA! Its called the Enviromental Science and Engineering Students Club, or ESESC for short, and my post is pretty cool. Basically, I'm supposed to come up with stuff to do! How awesome is that? Now, if only I had some ideas.

Travelling is hell. Two hour rides to and from school is no joke. Having to check which bus to take also ain't funny. I need a car, I really need a car. Or at least a hostel room. Now I have neither and I swear that time works differently for me. You see, four hours of commute a day leaves me with only 20 hours a day, whereas normal human beings have 24 hours in a day. Thus, time passes more slowly for me as I have to fit 20 hours into one rotation of the earth. Yeah that's right, I'm actually a very fast runner/swimmer/whatever. It is just that time passes slower for me.

And so does knowledge. I'm beginning to think that going to lectures aren't useful for me at all. What is the point if I don't catch what they say when they say it, but I do when I read the notes? That leaves me with two choices. Either I read the notes, and then go for the lecture. Or I could just depend on the notes to study and then only go for lectures if I don't get stuff or have to copy. Bleah.

I'm beginning to doubt getting double honors. Maybe then I'll get a better chance of going overseas.

I wen't down to the veterinary clinic yesterday at about 9am. Attended countless consultations, saw so many pets and wiped down lots of tables. My reward? I got to witness spinal surgery at the end of the day. But it also meant that I only ended at 11pm. The hours of being a vet.

As everyone doesn't know, today, the 14th of August, is international irony day. It is a day where the forces of the universe collude to produce a great display of irony in everybody's life. And not one bit was lost on me.

2: In a time warp, the decision matrix is skewed too.
3: I got up real early so that I could go to sleep.
4: I went up the staircase from the 5th floor to get to the 4th.
5: I talked to more people who were not from singapore than were from singapore.
6: News hits me not smack in the face.
7: I attended a 4 hour long dinner to socialise, but ended up ignoring everyone to toy with my handphone
8: They spent 4 hours talking about school.
9: I left early, to reach home late.
1, 10: When i got home, this jingle was playing on my ipod.

This was never the way I planned, not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand, lost my discretion
It's not what I'm used to, just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you caught my attention
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
No, I don't even know your name, it doesn't matter
You're my experimental game, just human nature
It's not what good girls do, not how they should behave
My head gets so confused, hard to obey
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
Us girls we are so magical
Soft skin, red lips, so kissable
Hard to resist, so touchable
Too good to deny it
It ain't no big deal, it's innocent
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
So yeah, a grand and fitting end to international irony day.
I'm doing my best to sleep early to get up early so that I can volunteer 11 hours at a veterinary centre for 8 weeks to obtain a good recommendation to secure a better chance of getting into Murdoch University in Perth. Vis a vis my chances of getting a scholarship.
Don't worry, I caught that last bit of irony too.

Wow, I haven't blogged in such a long while. School's almost starting and thinkgs are happening so fast. Soon I'll be so busy with school life and the 3hours of commute every day. In secondary school and JC, I dedicated myself to basketball. Training 6 days a week took up pretty much all of my time. So for a change in uni, I'm not going to do that. Instead, I'll try to make more friends and just have fun. No more serious competition, at least for this year. Its all going to be fun and games!

I think people screw up when they take things too seriously. So it's important that I can always laugh at myself.

Oh just come back already.
