Some photos from above, brought to you just so that you don't have to risk life and limb trying to climb to the top (literally) in vj. Of course this ascension is also symbolic, representing every student's struggle within this hallowed walls of education. But though ardous, the climb is well worth the effort as it will be something you will remember for the rest of your life, and the thrill of reaching the top is damn good. Too bad the hazy view and low resolution camera spoilt most of it...

Studying hard, its what we do...

Some people study so hard they don't even realise that their friend has hidden his handphone in his pencilcase, which also goes to show how stressed we are.

Of course some idiot is still in happy land talking to his girlfriend while scratching his *****!

Screw that, lets all go for some midnight prata!

While we are having fun, studies are obviously still at the top of our minds as this model of a uterus exemplifies. Note that it is in its luetal phase? Die, forgot what it was!

How odd, how decidedly odd. Four months ago to the day. Two weeks before exams. Now it happens again. 'They say if you 'love' something let it go, if it comes back it shows, that's how you know'. First of all, thats utter nonsense. It does not make anything any easier, and may make some harder.

What it does do, I think, is allow me to gauge for myself how much I have grown in these four months. I believe I've run the full gaunlet. The question now is if I will be able to proove that I have learnt something over these four months and am able to resist the temptation. No. I am strong, I am good! I'll survive this neighbourhood! Unstoppable, unshakable, nothing can sway me. Maybe except suayness!(haha).

Besides, I've got 5 'A's to think of right? Right now I believe I'm still far from my goal. How how how will I ever get to study veterinary science if I do poorly? How does superman save the world without his underpants?

On another note, the exams are really changing people. These few days, I am actually forcing myself to study to pass the time. Its as if I feel that a moment not spent studying is a mark lost, so I'm actually studying, not with any real intent, but simply to make the day end. Aside from actively draining you life energies, this kind of mentality also makes the day surprisingly short and empty. This is really where the wehs come in. And the utopia.

And the haze, don't let me get started. Its draining me of all my will to go running. And running in the gym just gives me a backache, probably my back complaining to me that Its an utter waste of money to spend 1.50 to go running on a treadmill. Shit, I think I'm gaining fat too. Mmmm, hope its High density lipoproteins accumulating in my arteries instead of low density ones. I'm not keen on getting atherosclerosis which could lead to coronary thrombosis which might culminate in a myocardial infarction. Heart attack to me and you.

What better way to end my tenure in this school than with a most incredible day, both in the good and bad way. First, there was the farewell assembly. It was really really fun and entertaining, especially all those performances put up by the teachers, house comm, Icomp( which for some reason now go by the kiddst name Infocomm club) and not to forget batman and the white ranger. I think that one of the most memoriable moments was the mugging competition! I will never forget whYJC, New Year JC, Act Cool JC, Merlion JC, Turtle JC, Amen, and Richest JC! Yes yes, crude, juvenille and childish. So sue me. Our principal Mrs Chan is leaving too, promoted to some high up post where I'm sure she will be da bomb! The incoming principal is supposed to be some big-shot-16-years in hcjc-moe superintendent macho big guy, but most of us were put off by the hcjc part. Yup, discrimination and profiling is alive and kicking here in VJ!

Anyway, after all that fun stuff we did some mass dances, yadda yadda, then went up to class where we had like our last CT session. Thankfully we were Ms Oon, or should I say MDM Oon, Or Mrs CHIN's second batch, and no tears were shed or anything. We later spent the better part of an hour taking pictures. Tonnes, I would post them all but there are only so many that I can take with my handphone right?

Second Intakers

Auntie!

Maris Stella Primary School!!! wang wang hi sing!

Oh ya Oh ya, great apes, some dog... Classic...

Always trustworthy!

Who knew skipping O2 to go to Kbox could be such fun?

OBS, then VJC. Where is Jiawei and Meredith?

This girl woke up late, scoulded her maid, and couldn't make it to the performance...Like a poem!

Anyway, after all the phototaking, we went to marina to eat Jack's place, complaining all the time about the watery soup, small portion, lousy chicken etc. Then we went looking around for prom stuff and damn the nice stuff are so damn expensive! At least this time I can give the excuse that I've gotta buy clothes for my sister's wedding. Then to watch that show with Owen Wilson in it whose name I have momentarily forgotten.

The fun actually begins after the movie, I wanted to rush down to go gyming with andy and matt and hc but the movie ended at 6 plus, so i rushed off to a bus stop where I thought there was 70. Turns out there wasn't. No matter, I walked around the outside of suntec till I reached a bus stop with 70, but 857 came, so I took that instead thinking that it will be faster. Not only was it not faster, the bus broke down at Boon Keng. Of course at this time I had not yet realised that if I had just taken the trouble to walk to the mrt, it would have brought me straight to yck. No, must be adventurous right? So I decided to take the NEL to serangoon then a bus. Halfway down I changed my mind(talk about indecisiveness) and went back aboveground only to see the next 857 go past. Bloody *&^*(&^. Luckily 13 came at that time, and even though I knew that I was probably not going to be able to gym after all, still somehow thought that I was going to yck. So I took the goddamned bus which brought me to bishan before I got off at amk. After this odyssey, it was already dark and I figured that I was so damn tired that I should just take a bloody cab home. It wouldn't cost more than 4 bucks right? since I'm relatively near my house. My ass. The moment the cab started I saw the bright red 2.00 at the bottom lefthand corner. Turns out the time was something like 7.50pm. Right now I'm bloody exhausted and to add to that, my kd is coming out of war in 8 hours and I'm so landfat random people are cbing me all the time. If someone doesn't start a game of DotA right now...
