Have you ever daydreamed, and in your flight of fancy, deserted your earthly body and became nothing more than a floating cloud of awareness? You could drift wherever you wanted to, see whatever you want to see from an eagle eye's view. Your mortal worries concern you no more and theres nothing in the world but you, you and that beautiful landscape you see unfolding before you.
That's what diving is like.
Just finning along watching the reef unfold, changing your course only to pursue a darting cuttlefish, or a school of barracuda, or a wise old turtle flapping through the sea. Gaping in wonder and amazement at the multitiude of life that the reef is teeming with. Being nothing short of astonished at the number of fishes that school together, swimming in perfect harmony and synchrony.
That's what diving is like.
The accomodation may have sucked, the bunks may have been too reminiscent of army and the orange juice may be too diluted, but just the serenity and pleasure that diving brings is enough to put everything negative out of your mind.
Add that to the list of things that I have got to do
1: Kayaking
2: Wakeboarding
3: Windsurfing
4: Diving
5: Rockclimbing
Its not in order of preference! Each of these is a totally different experience which all happen to be beautiful. Kayaking brings you on an expedition, Wakeboarding brings you thrills, Windsurfing brings you satisfaction, Rockclimbing brings you to the edge of your willpower and Diving brings you out of this world.
